Infinite Group’s Value Combination
Our Value Combination: Inspiration, Integrity and Initiative – in our dealings with all of our partnerships, clients, suppliers and regions. Teamwork, creativity and efficiency are at the heart of how we implement our strategies and relate to everyone concerned.
Corporate Ethics
We expressly accept our duty to do everything in our power to observe and promote fundamental business principles and employ and maintain honourable management practices in all of our dealings. Transparency, fairness and reliability towards clients, business partners, colleagues and public offices, form the basis of our business interactions. Maintaining these basic principles instils trust in the business that we, as an economy-minded and socially conscious company greatly encourage. The management team has professionalism, the necessary qualifications, personal integrity and the significant experience in the respective fields.
Change affects us all
The Greek philosopher Heraclitus (~480 B.C.) was known for his belief that “Change is the Only Constant”. Although we all feel the need to understand the reason for everything and prefer our lives to be predictable – according to Heraclitus – it is in change that we find purpose.
The adoption of information technology has surely changed our lives over the past 50 years. This may seem rapid, but it took less than 10 years to enable an individual to engage with the rest of the world through the use of social media. On a population of over 7 billion people we now are less than 6 degrees removed from any other person on the planet. Facebook even calculated that in 2011 92% of all people are within 4 introductions of any other person. Imagine if Heraclitus would have had a similar level of reach and influence: where would humanity be today?
Speed of change is increasing
More than 2500 years after Heraclitus, change is still the only constant, but the speed of change is increasing even more constantly. It now appears that Gordon Moore’s Law, who co-founded Intel in 1968, does not only apply to processors and integrated circuits, but to most innovations, and as a result to the society as a whole. Businesses all over the world find themselves struggling with hyper-change. Not surprisingly, if you consider that most companies pride themselves to be engineered in such a way that their outcomes are predictable. While in fact they no longer are. To paraphrase Murphy’s Law “If anything can go wrong, it will” into “Change will come sooner or later, usually sooner.”
We’ve already seen the damages of unavoidable changes throughout many industries in the past decade. Added to the crisis, this was merely the beginning as new business models are defined every day. Your competitor may not exist today, but what about the one that disrupts your market tomorrow? Are you ready?
Why the emphasis on change?
The rapid adoption of smartphones and improved Internet connectivity around the world has changed the way users today interact with technology, and has sometimes spurred the decline or demise of traditional businesses. Companies looking to grow should not shy away from adopting new, emerging technologies, even if they cannibalize their legacy operations. Over the past few years, companies have been forced to reconsider their existing business models in sectors as diverse as media, banks and transport services. Our partners, business alliances and clients, too, are dealing with extraordinary change, and are grappling with unparalleled disruption in their own industry. Infinite Group has not only identified how the stages of social business have evolved over the past 20 years, but we’re convinced that if change is embedded in the mind and soulset of a business, disruption will become a challenge, instead of a crisis.
But with disruption also comes opportunity – companies need to innovate – and that’s what we do. For 20 years, we have been driving business forward, and we are ready to bring tomorrow forward – the future can’t wait, and nor can we. We are problem solvers, thinkers, innovators, entrepreneurs – powered by collaboration. But most of all we are aligned with our partners, business alliances and clients, and committed to their future. Now.
